Question 1

How much is an emergency dental visit in Boston?

Accepted Answer

Emergency dental visit costs in Boston typically range from $90–$250 for an exam and X-rays. Procedure costs vary. Most major insurance plans are accepted and flexible financing is available through participating providers — call for a transparent estimate before you arrive.

Question 2

What should I do for a dental concern that needs urgent attention?

Accepted Answer

Call our 24/7 regional routing line for a prompt clinical evaluation. For general comfort, you may rinse with warm salt water and apply a cold compress to the outside of the cheek. A timely professional evaluation supports better outcomes.

Question 3

Should I go to the ER for a dental concern?

Accepted Answer

Hospital ERs are not equipped to deliver definitive dental treatment — a licensed dental provider is generally the appropriate first point of contact. Please contact emergency services or call 911 for facial trauma, uncontrolled bleeding, or difficulty breathing or swallowing.

Question 4

Do you accept walk-ins?

Accepted Answer

Yes, participating Boston providers accept walk-ins for urgent dental evaluations whenever possible. We recommend calling first to confirm same-day availability and minimize wait time.

Question 5

Do you accept new patients?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we accept new patients. Whether it's your first visit or you've never seen one of our network providers before, we welcome new patients across Boston, Cambridge, Brookline, Somerville and Quincy — call now and we'll coordinate a same-day evaluation.
